Terms

1. Our Service

Refined Parenting provides non-urgent parenting support and guidance for parents and caregivers. Support may cover areas such as sleep, feeding, routines, development, behaviour and family life.

Our services are not a substitute for medical assessment, diagnosis, emergency care or treatment.

2. How Support Is Delivered

Support may be provided by video call, telephone, email or other agreed methods, depending on the service booked.

3. Photos & Videos

Please do not send unsolicited photographs or videos. We do not provide image-based assessments or request images of sensitive areas. Where an in-person or medical assessment is needed, we will advise you to contact an appropriate healthcare service.

4. Payment, Cancellation & Rescheduling

Payment is required when booking unless otherwise agreed.

You may reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability. Our standard cancellation policy allows cancellations up to 48 hours before an appointment for a refund.

Where UK consumer cancellation rights apply, you may also have a statutory 14-day cancellation period. If you ask us to begin providing a service during this period, you may be required to pay for services already provided. Once a service has been fully delivered at your request, your right to cancel may end.

5. Scope & Safeguarding

We will let you know if a concern falls outside the scope of our service and recommend appropriate professional support where necessary.

We take safeguarding seriously. Where we have a serious concern about the safety or welfare of a child or another person, we may take appropriate action or share information where required by law or safeguarding responsibilities.

6. Confidentiality

Information shared with us is treated confidentially, subject to legal and safeguarding obligations.

Consultations may not be recorded, reproduced or distributed without the prior written permission of Refined Parenting & Wellbeing Ltd.

7. Resources

Any handouts, plans, written guidance or other resources provided are for your personal use only and may not be copied, adapted, distributed or used commercially without permission.

8. Responsibility & Liability

Our guidance is based on the information you provide, professional experience and available evidence at the time.

You remain responsible for decisions relating to yourself and your child. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability arising from negligence where applicable.

9. Ending Services

We may end or refuse to continue a service where there is inappropriate behaviour, misuse of the service, non-payment, unauthorised recording or another serious breach of these terms.

You may also stop using our services at any time, subject to any applicable payment or cancellation terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute.

By booking or using our services, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
