Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this service for?
Our service is for parents of babies and young children, from birth up to age five, with a particular focus on the early parenting stage.
Will my appointment be led by a qualified professional?
Yes, all our services are delivered by a qualified paediatric nurse, health visitor and certified infant sleep consultant with specialist training in the early years.
Is everything I share confidential?
Yes. We’re here to support you, and everything you share is kept confidential. Information would only ever be shared if there were a serious safety concern, in line with professional guidance. This is extremely rare, and you would always be informed.
Do you offer face-to-face appointments?
All consultations are online. This makes things much easier for most families, with no travel, no waiting rooms, and no need to plan around naps or feeds (or tidy up!). You can speak to us from the comfort of your own space. Messy hair, PJs and all.
What if my child needs a face-to-face check?
If we ever feel your child would benefit from an in-person assessment, like a weight check or physical review, you'll clearly be advised to contact your local health visitor, GP, or relevant service.
Can you provide a letter if the developmental assessment shows a concern?
Yes. If needed, we can provide a summary to share with your GP, health visitor, or another professional. It's not a referral, but it can help guide next steps.
Do you support twins or multiples?
Yes. There is no extra charge for twins if we're covering shared topics, like weaning. If reviewing two or more separate developmental assessments or creating individual care plans, you'll be informed in advance if an additional fee applies.
Can I have my baby with me during the call?
Of course. You don't need to be baby-free or in complete silence. Feed them, cuddle them, eat your breakfast. Whatever works, we're quite relaxed here.
Do I need to take notes?
Not unless you want to. We can send you a written summary so you can just focus on the call.
Can I ask "silly" questions?
There's no such thing. If you're wondering about something, it matters.
What if I'm not camera ready?
Although most initial consultations are done by video, voice-only calls are absolutely fine if that's what you prefer. We want you to feel comfortable.
I don't live in the UK, can I still get support?
At the moment, one-to-one support is offered to families living in the UK. If this ever changes, the website will be updated.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a refund (if applicable). You're welcome to reschedule once, at least 24 hours before the appointment, subject to availability. We understand family life can be unpredictable, if something unexpected happens, please get in touch.
I still have questions. What should I do?
Book a free introductory call through the website, and we'll help you figure out the next step.
