How You're Supported

A comprehensive developmental and social-emotional assessment using Ages & Stages Questionnaires, completed by a registered Health Visitor. Shortly after booking, you'll receive a short parent prep sheet to help you observe your child's play and skills in the lead-up to our session. This gives your child a fair chance to show where they’re at and means we can use the session to go through the questions together and discuss next steps. We’ll use two trusted screening tools: the Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) and the Social Emotional ASQ:SE to look at key areas including: 🗣️ Communication ⚽ Gross motor skills ✍️ Fine motor skills 🧮 Problem-solving 🧠 Social interaction and Emotional development During the session, we'll complete both tools together and begin discussing your child's development in more detail. I'll then score both questionnaires and follow up with: Personalised activity ideas for any areas that need support A clear plan for what to do next if needed Learning ideas for the next stage if your child is meeting all milestones You can book this review at any age from 1 month up to 5 years. Most children only get one or two checks through that whole stage, but this gives you the option to look more closely at your child’s development whenever you need to.
